Thanks for a great stay late last month. We had a fantastic time and are already planning to come again. I left a good review for you on Trip Advisor.
Lovely villa. Nice, quiet and away from it all (Its behind Sairee Village up the road behind The Brother bar and restraunt). We hired a quad bike for the duration but its easily walkable from Sairee Village. Really nice staff and very helpful. Stayed for 10 days in late May and it was hot, the beaches were nice and quiet and it only rained one night. Planning to go back already!

We stayed in the Anankhiri Villas last week for three nights, we had the most amazing time ever...
Staff were so friendly the man that owns the villas was so helpful with everything...

The villa is brilliant its all open plan with flat screen tv dvd player and they supply a huge stack of dvds for you to watch if you just want to chill out theres also a beautiful outdoor jacuzzi pool..
Bedroom is magnificent there is closed doors for that so you don't really get your wildlife guests bar one or two baby lizards which are completely harmless...
Would defo recommend this to a couple looking for romantic break...

I travelled to Koh Tao in February 2006. Anankhira was by far the best and most unique hotel I have ever stayed at. I often stay at Ritz Carlton and other nice hotels, but still find Anankhira amazing. The hotel owner picked us up at the pier, and was willing to drive us around the island whenever we needed. You have a private pool which overlooks the ocean. The bedroom was completely enclosed and you could lock the door so that we felt safe and it was air conditioned. The living room and bathroom were open and overlooked the ocean. Even though it was an open layout, there was still a flat screen tv, mini bar etc.. Breakfast was provided and it is a short walk down the hill (the only negative about the hotel, steep walk up to it) to a beautiful beach. Sairee hut restaurant is great and a short walk, along with many other places. I had absolutelty no problems and the staff was very willing to help with anything i needed (exchanging money, suggestions, using internet). I stayed at koh tao resort and coral grand and found anankhira by far the best hotel.

Helen Taylor and Bradley Evans here, we stayed at Anankhira from Jan 4th
to 11th.

I would like to say thank you for such a wonderful stay in the
absolutely beautiful Anankhira. The villas were superb, we really did
feel that we were truly in paradise watching the sunsets from our own
pool.

Not only was the detail in the villas amazing, you really did think of
everything, it was truly your wonderful staff that were so welcoming and
so wonderful that they absolutely made Anankhira! Nothing was too much
trouble and they were always so happy and ready to help! From reception
to your handyman to the maid who cleaned our room, we just can't praise
them enough!

We've never before thanked any hotel for the stay but we just had to
email you and let you know how wonderful Anankhira is. We told lots of
people on Ko Tao how wonderful it was and also our friends back home.
You can trust us when we say, when we return to Ko Tao - there will be
no other place in our minds to stay!

We have just returned home after 3 weeks in Thailand.
This is an annual trip for us so we have had plenty of varied experiences with accomodation.

We stayed in the one bedroom villa which is very spacious. It's important to mention that we stayed there during a dry season so the weather was perfect each day.

The villa is balinese style and very open to the elements and geckos. The TV and DVD player did not get much use as the view staight over the plunge pool kept us enthrawled until dark came, which is when we wandered to one of the many bars and restaurants nearby. I recommend the Buddha View Bar with BBQ!

Eventually when we got home the mosquito netting worked fine, no bites for us.

The room was cleaned each day, beds made, towels changed, and the service was definately friendly. This is not a resort though, it's two very nice Villas for rent. You stock your own minibar and find your own breakfast, there are many good choices for this at whatever time you rise.

Our transfers were reliable, on time, and helpful.

For Koh Tao standards I rate this very high and worth the money if you want to splash out. This leads to the only tricky point which is that they look so good from the beach, many people do look in with a 'wow' look on their face. We soon got used to it. At first i thought the owners could build a little fench infront of the plunge pool, but this would ruin the best part which is the view.
